Product Details

Standard Parts

Motor

Adopt Teco or Tatung motors made in Taiwan. Totally enclosed outdoors type.
Other brands motors are also available as optional.

Fan assembly

Induced draft axial type fan assembly with pilch adjustable fan blades Fan blacks malarial could be 


FRP
Aluminum extrusion or Aluminum alloy Fan hub material is H D G Steel
Drive shaft with mechanical coupling

The drive shaft is horizontal type and should be dynamically balanced The material could be SUS304. SS41 or composite fiber. It is also available to provide American, European or Japanese products.

Spray nozzle 0.5kg/cm

The spray nozzle should be with at least 25mm orifice. It is with even water distribution and pressure drop loss is
less than O.5kg/cm

The standard fill fcr KCW Counterblow tower is film type vacuum formed fill It is with low air resistance and high performance on heat exchange. The material is PVC while high temperature CPVC is optional.
The standard fill fcr KHT cross flow tower is wood splash bar while film type fill is optional


Gear-Box

Match the design requirement of CTI & AGMA. Minimum service factor is 2.0.The service life of bearing is longer than 100,000 hours.

The big size gear boxes always adopt American, Japanese or European products. Vibration switch and oil Level switch are optional.


1.Safety Ladder
The safety ladder is with H D G Steel material and be installed on opposite side of the stairway 


2. Wood
(1)Douglas fir,
(2)Californian red; wood 


3.Vibration Switch

(A)The vibration switch shall shut off the power source of the fan motor if the vibration is too big to protect the gear box. There are two types of vibration switches
(B) Electronic type: Could transmit vibration data to remote control center. Could also reset remotely.
(C) Mechanical type: Could adjust the sensitivity. 


4.Oil Level Switch
The oil level switch shall shut off the power source of the motor if the oil level of the gear box is too Low to protect the gear box. 


5.Two Speeds Motors or Frequency Variation Design;
The design of Two speeds motor is 4/8 pole. When the motor is operating on low speed at 8 pole, the
Cooling tower performance is about half but the power consumption of fan motor is only about 20%
Normally, it is used during night time in summer or during winter time
The design of frequency variation is with the purpose to reduce the rotation of motor to match the
Requirement of heat duty variation or noise problem.

It requires frequency converter and frequency variation motor
1)distfibuticm system is sheltered and keeps clean.
2)The fill is sheltered and keeps clean.
3)Less hot air recirculation trouble.
The Advantage of Counterblow
4)Pump heading for counterblow is lower so operation cost is lower
5)Counter flow is with smaller fool site.
6)Erecting man-hours for counter flow is lower.
7)Maintenance costs for counter flow is lower.
8)Smaller fan and / or motor for counter flow,
9)When approach is short, the performance of counterfoil is much better.


The Advantage of Cross flow
1)The water drops noise of cross flow is lower thus the noise of complete cooling tower is also lower.
2)Easier to clean fill for Cross flow.
3)When water quality is poor, the fill of cross flow is free from dog.
